For owners and managers who already use AI assistants
Sunday night. One question about the business — and nobody to ask.
This is the story of Maya, who asks her own AI assistant about Northwind's leases and gets answers from real data — under her permissions, with every request logged.
The way it usually goes
- The answer is in the CRM, but you'd have to open the laptop, find the screen and build the filter.
- Quick questions wait until Monday, or get lost in a message to someone else.
- And you're wary of giving any AI free rein over your company's data.
The story
Tuesday — Maya connects her assistant in a minute.
No integration project. In MCP Connections she creates a connection, copies the secret — shown once — and adds it to her AI assistant. Any MCP-compatible tool works, such as Claude Desktop, Cursor or Claude.ai.
Sunday, 9 pm — She asks in plain language and gets real answers.
No filters. No screens. Just the answer. “Which rentals expire in the next 60 days?” Her assistant looks them up in RealtoCRM and lists the three leases, with tenants, properties and days remaining.
9:02 pm — And it can act — where her role allows.
Said once, done. “Create a task for Lucas to call Elena about renewing, due Thursday.” The task appears in Lucas's list and in the agent app, like any other task.
Always — Her permissions. Every time.
Powerful, and still in her control. Each request is checked against Maya's live role, so a restricted role sees only what the dashboard would show. Every call, including denied ones, is written to System Activity, and destructive actions need explicit confirmation. A connection can be rotated or revoked at any time.
What changes for your company
- Answers from your real CRM data, in your own AI assistant.
- Instructions carried out with your role's permissions — and no more.
- A full audit trail, including denied requests.
- Connections you can rotate or revoke in seconds.
Questions you might have
Which AI tools can I connect?
Any MCP-compatible assistant, for example Claude Desktop, Cursor or Claude.ai. Compatible tools can connect with a secret from your admin panel or with OAuth.
Can the assistant see everything in our CRM?
No. Every request is checked against the connected person's live role. A restricted role sees the same slice of data through MCP as on their own dashboard.
Is it safe to let an AI change data?
Writes follow the same permissions as the dashboard, destructive actions require explicit confirmation, every call is logged, and you can revoke a connection instantly.
Which plan includes it?
MCP connections are part of the Marketing module, planned for the Pro and Enterprise plans (coming soon).
